Show Racism the Red Card

On the 20th October, we’ve been wearing red to say no to racism! Together, we’ve come together as a school to spread the message that we will unite against racism and we will continue to support the UK’s leading anti-racism charity Show Racism the Red Card

Year 6 also took part in a workshop, with the aims:

To educate young people about how to recognise racism
To consider the impact that racism has
To empower young people to challenge racism in the communities in which they live, providing them with relevant knowledge and information to enable them to do this.
To help young people prepare to play an active role as citizens in an increasingly multi-cultural society
